PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LTE for IoT chipmaker Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE: SQNS) announced that it has executed an agreement with NTT DOCOMO, INC., the leading mobile operator in Japan, to accelerate the development of NB-IoT devices and applications on DOCOMO’s network, using Sequans’ Monarch LTE Platform, the world’s most highly optimized LTE-M/NB-IoT chip solution, and Monarch N, an NB-IoT-only version of Monarch. The two companies have been working together for several years, beginning first with LTE Cat 1 technology, then with LTE-M, and now with NB-IoT. The goal of the new agreement is to develop and mature an end-to-end NB-IoT ecosystem in Japan.
