Kim, the former Deputy Director of South Korea’s Financial Services Commission (“FSC”), to its leadership team. As Head of Legal & International Development, Kim will assist seriesOne clients and stakeholders in accessing the South Korean and other major Asian capital markets while ensuring compliance with international law, evolving structures and governing bodies.

As a former deputy director of the FSC in South Korea, Kim has the ideal background for overseeing implementation of new know-your-client (“KYC”) and anti-money-laundering (“AML”) policies.

Kim has also consulted on several eight-figure transactions including initial coin offerings (“ICO”), crypto deals, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and traditional fundraising. In addition, he has excellent relationships with major crypto exchanges in South Korea and decades of experience with international law firms.

Having represented companies including Citibank, KKR & Co. L.P., LG Electronics, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Kim specializes in international law and compliance.
