Videojet Modernizes Coding and Marking Supplies with iQMark™

CHICAGO--()--Videojet Technologies, a leading global supplier of coding and marking systems and supplies, has launched iQMark™, a modern supplies brand developed to help customers meet their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals, and at the same time, remain compliant with ever more stringent governmental and industry regulations worldwide.

The wide iQMark ink range offering includes 30 inks designated with the iQMark™. Videojet ink development experts are consistently adding to that number through enhanced research and product development initiatives.

New iQMark inks for continuous inkjet printers include iQMark™ V463. This ink was formulated to meet the strict Japan ISHL Class 2 Organic Solvent list and comply with the European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) Exclusion List.

Another new supply for continuous inkjet printing, iQMark V930, is a low VOC (volatile organic compound) cleaning solution developed specifically to meet California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) regulation requiring low VOC cleaners to improve air quality.

Sherry Washburn, Business Unit Manager for Supplies at Videojet Technologies, said, “The requirements our customers have to consider continues to grow exponentially and we see it as our responsibility as a supplier to support them as closely as possible where CSR and compliance are concerned.”

Videojet ink safety data and specification sheets are available to identify the industry standards and certifications each ink meets. Videojet ink experts are available to give professional advice about ink selection.

Over a quarter of Videojet supplies developed in recent years has had corporate responsibility alignment as a component of the product benefits. Videojet monitors its product development to ensure products meet stringent requirements throughout their lifecycle. The launch of the iQMark™ brand will further enable Videojet, and its customers, communicate their CSR efforts.

“Regulatory compliance in all areas is at the very top of the Videojet agenda. The challenge has been to balance these requirements with the CSR goals of its customers. iQMark™ is the culmination of the company’s considerable efforts in this area,” Washburn said.
