Crédit Agricole CIB Further Strengthens Its Global Markets Americas Corporate Sales Team

NEW YORK--()--Crédit Agricole CIB announces the appointment of two new team members for Crédit Agricole CIB’s Americas Corporate Sales team.

Jeff Kim joins as Head of Corporate Sales for the Americas

Jeff joins Crédit Agricole CIB after 5 years in public service working for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System as a Project Leader in its Financial Risk Management section and for the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Senior Financial Economist. Prior to this, Jeff was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Crédit Agricole CIB where he was part of the Corporate Risk Solutions and Derivatives Structuring teams. Jeff’s leadership, combined 25 years of experience, will help to further develop and strengthen our corporate sales activity as we continue to grow the business across the Americas.

Based in New York, Jeff reports globally to Ian Rowland, Global Head of Corporate Sales, and locally to Bryan Scarfone, Head of GMD Sales & Trading Americas.

Rodrigo Placido joins as Head of Latin American Corporate Sales

Rodrigo brings over 18 years of experience in the banking industry, working across Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. Rodrigo started his career in Sales and Trading at Citibank, then moving to Itau Unibanco SA where he worked as a Consumer and Retail Banker, followed by Kraft Foods where he worked in Global Treasury. Most recently Rodrigo worked at Banco Santander as the Head of the Consumer and Retail Sector. Rodrigo will work with the Corporate Sales team to renew our initiatives in Latin America, in alignment with the expansion of our Coverage LatAm client base following the opening of Crédit Agricole CIB’s new offices in Colombia and Chile.

Based in New York, Rodrigo reports to Jeff Kim, Head of Corporate Sales for the Americas.
