Kickboard Relocates Company Headquarters to New Orleans’ Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard Corridor

NEW ORLEANS--()--New Orleans-based Kickboard, maker of the award-winning Kickboard school culture system, has relocated its headquarters from downtown New Orleans to 1824 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard. O.C. Haley Boulevard, a designated Louisiana Main Street and Cultural District, is located just outside of downtown in one of New Orleans’ oldest and culturally rich neighborhoods, Central City.

“Kickboard’s roots are in New Orleans and we love being part of the city’s thriving edtech community,” said Jennifer Medbery, founder and chief product officer of Kickboard. “We’re excited to move our corporate office to the O.C. Haley Boulevard corridor, where we’ll be part of the redevelopment of a great neighborhood commercial district. Plus, we’ll be in the same building with several other educational organizations that are also committed to creating a more equitable learning environment for children across the country.”

Kickboard was founded in New Orleans in 2009. Since then, it has become a leading provider of solutions that help schools create a positive school culture with Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Response to Intervention (RTI) programs. In the last four years, the company has doubled in size and the Kickboard school culture system is now in hundreds of schools in the United States, Australia, and United Kingdom.

“At Kickboard, we’re committed to making a difference in the lives of educators, students, and their families. Because we understand the impact a positive culture has on schools, we strive to build the same culture in our own work environment so each of us can thrive,” said Stefan Kohler, CEO of Kickboard. “Here in New Orleans, we know we’ll continue to attract exceptionally talented people to be part of our team because of the city’s rich culture and ongoing education innovation.”
