TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Home Capital Group Inc. (“Home Capital” or “the Company”) (TSX: HCG) today announced voting results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario.
The total number of shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy was 54,848,907 representing 68.35% of Home Capital’s issued and outstanding Common Shares. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business put forth at the meeting as follows:

Appointment of Chair of the Board
Following his election to the Board at the AGM, Paul W. Derksen was appointed Chair of the Board. Mr. Derksen has extensive financial services experience, having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for Sun Life Financial and CT Financial Services. Mr. Derksen currently is the Lead Director of CI Financial and has served on the boards of a number of private and charitable organizations. He holds a CPA, CA designation.
