Harmons Honors Partnerships with Local Utah Vendors

Development Grants Awarded to Three Utah Businesses

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah--()--Harmons Neighborhood Grocer is proud to recognize vendors Hollow Tree Honey, McFarland Family Farms and Bar10 Beef with this year’s local business development grants in recognition for their outstanding contributions to Harmons and Utah’s economy.

“We are proud to recognize these outstanding vendors for their commitment and passion to providing our customers with delicious, locally made products,” said Harmons’ Vice President of Sales, Todd Jensen. “Each of these grant recipients demonstrates an outstanding commitment to quality and care in providing our customers the best local products available, and we are proud to support them with grants to bolster their business.”

Each of this year’s grant winners serves a unique niche, and their stories showcase their pledge to providing Harmons customers with some of the best local products you can find. Hollow Tree Honey is committed to producing local, high-quality raw honey from its hives, located just miles from several Harmons locations. Bar10 Beef is committed to its “grass fed by design” model, and takes extra measures to ensure that its animals are cared for and treated humanely. McFarland Family Farms serves the needs of Harmons customers by following an intensive produce delivery schedule to ensure optimal freshness.

“As a company with deep Utah roots, we want to support our local vendor partner community in achieving the same success we’ve been fortunate to experience over 85 years,” said Harmons’ Co-owner and Vice President for the Customer, Bob Harmon. “It is a privilege to help create opportunities for local vendors and our local grant program is just one way of showing appreciation to our great local partners.”

Supporting Utah vendors and suppliers ensures that Harmons customers receive fresh, unique products you won’t find at just any grocery store. With an impressive roster of over 350 local vendors and over 2,300 local products, Harmons provides customers with one of the most comprehensive selections of local items in the state.
