National Superhero Day “Boss” video exceeds 100,000 views in short order; ‘DALE is Great for 4-28’

DETROIT--()--In honor of April 28, 2018, which happens to be both National Sense of Smell Day and National Superhero Day, fans of outdoors comic character Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ (aka DALE Dunnerway) are choosing the name of a cologne that would be appropriate for DALE. Based on preliminary social media feedback, “Wet Farm Dog” is expected to win over “Dude – Stay Downwind!” by a wide margin.

“Comic character DALE is a bit rough around the edges, so a cologne name such as ‘Wet Farm Dog’ fits pretty well,” company representatives candidly offer. “We agree that this name is a great suggestion, and we thank our fans for their passion, support, and engagement. However, we want to be clear that there are no plans for any DALE scent-related products anytime soon, especially none that would be scratch and sniff.”

Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ is one of the few entities that can celebrate both National Superhero Day and National Sense of Smell Day. Along those lines, DALE released a special DALE-themed video to his fans on social media as part of celebrating National Superhero Day. Some of DALE’s “hero” appeal is that he is the voice for folks who work too much and hunt/fish/recreate too little, as shown in his overall body of work, and demonstrated clearly in his recently posted “Boss” video.

This video received more than 100,000 views on social media in very short order, demonstrating DALE’s growing fan base and the fact that DALE resonates strongly with outdoorsmen, aspiring outdoorsmen, those who tolerate the outdoorsmen in their lives, and cool-but-overworked folks in general.
