BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Los Angeles Distribution & Broadcasting, Inc. (LADB), the only secure digital media and content services facility with three ISO certifications in addition to its CDSA certification and MPAA Awareness program, today announced that it has appointed Deborah Schuster as Executive Vice President of Accessibility Services. Schuster will spearhead LADB’s expansion into the live captioning business. LADB has been providing closed captioning services for more than five years to its client base, including studios, producers and others, and is entering the live captioning arena.
Deborah Schuster is a 40-year veteran of the closed captioning and audio description services industry and is a recipient of the Accessible Media Industry Coalition’s (AMIC) Pioneer Award for her work in developing, promoting and expanding the closed captioning service to broadcasters.
