HANOVER, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BISTel, a leading provider of intelligent manufacturing software solutions for industrial, automotive and electronics manufacturing will preview its innovative new predictive maintenance (PdM) solution with Oracle at the annual Hannover Messe tradeshow in Germany. BISTel will demonstrate its new PdM solution on the Oracle cloud platform in Oracle’s Smart Connected Factory stand 16, Hall 7. Oracle's smart connected factory is designed to provide a 360-degree view of manufacturing operations across the world to improve visibility into costs, efficiency, and quality across factories. BISTel will make its new PdM solution available to industrial manufacturers in Q3FY18.
Equipment downtime and failures due to defective or failing components is a drag on productivity, quality and profitability. Smart connected factories or industry 4.0 as it is sometimes called, addresses these challenges by deploying A.I., based advanced machine learning technologies that connect the manufacturing ecosystem to better detect, analyze, predict and adapt real-time to changing manufacturing conditions.
“We are delighted to preview our new PdM solution with our long-time partner Oracle at the world’s pre-eminent industrial manufacturing tradeshow,” commented W.K. Choi, President and CEO of BISTel. “PdM’s ability to predict and prescribe enables manufacturers to accurately know the health of their machines at any point in time, know the remaining useful life of the machine and when to conduct the necessary maintenance. This will have a huge, positive impact on costs, quality, operational efficiency and will substantially improve the bottom line.”
PdM solutions determine the condition of equipment and processes to predict when maintenance should be performed. BIStel’s PdM solution lets manufacturers perform real-time fault detection, uses big data analytics to quickly conduct root cause analysis, and now thanks to advanced machine learning enables manufacturers to predict equipment faults before they occur then self-heal by conducting the required maintenance before failure.
Manufacturers can now reduce costs by conducting predictive maintenance when its needed. It is no longer subjected to time-based servicing.
