BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Backyard icon Lawn-Boy has just announced a major move. For the first time in its history, the lawn equipment manufacturer will be available at Menards, the nation’s third-largest home improvement chain—bringing with it the ability to provide homeowners the choice of high-quality yet affordable yard tools, just in time for mowing season.
“Bonded by our Midwestern heritage and shared beliefs in value and quality for home improvement and outdoor products, Menards and Lawn-Boy are a perfect match,” explains Linnea McChesney, marketing associate for the Lawn-Boy brand. “We are eager to bring Lawn-Boy’s legacy for value and quality to this new audience.”
The two Lawn-Boy models that will be exclusively available at Menards stores in the Midwest are engineered to make mowing easier, while also being affordably priced. The High-Wheel Push mower with a Kohler® engine features a 21-inch steel deck that is lightweight yet durable, and high rear wheels that assist in tackling uneven or rough terrain with ease. The Rear-Wheel Drive Variable Speed Self-Propel mower provides improved traction and control in all mowing conditions, thanks to the self-propel system. Both models feature a Kohler XTX OHV engine with no oil change required—just check the oil level and add more as needed.
These Lawn-Boy mowers are available in the outdoor power equipment section on www.menards.com or at the more than 300 Menards stores. For more information about Lawn-Boy mowers, visit www.lawnboy.com.
