SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MasterControl Inc., a leading global provider of software solutions that enable life science and other regulated companies to deliver life-improving products to more people sooner, today announced Terrance Holbrook, Senior Product Manager at MasterControl, will speak at INTERPHEX 2018 to discuss the human element in automation. MasterControl will also exhibit at Booth 1538.
The presentation, “Automating the Human Element in Production,” will be on April 17 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Technical Conference Stage 5, Booth 1677, Exhibit Hall in the Javits Center, New York City.
“Life science companies seeking to increase efficiencies often turn to automation systems to aid in this mission,” Holbrook said. “The challenge is that current automation systems collect machine interactions, but miss the human element because it is much more difficult to collect data regarding a person’s actions than it is a machine’s. If tracking human interactions on an assembly line or in a packaging department can be improved, then business leaders can gain visibility into efficiencies or constraints into many levels of manufacturing and production.”
Attendees will get answers to the following questions:
- What is the human element?
- How do we automate it?
- How do we improve it?
MasterControl will also be represented at the Data Integrity Keynote Series at INTERPHEX. This panel presentation will include Bob Mehta, Principal Consultant, MasterControl through GMP ISO Expert Services. Mehta will discuss regulatory requirements and best practices for data integrity and process security. The Best Practices in Data Integrity and Process Security with Automated Systems session will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 on the show floor at the Innovation Stage from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
