CHICAGO & BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Incapital LLC, a leading underwriter and distributor of fixed income securities, today announced that Paul Mottola has joined the firm as Head of Capital Markets. He reports directly to CEO John DesPrez and will also be a member of the Executive Committee.
In this role, Mr. Mottola will lead the Capital Markets team and drive the firm’s industry-leading InterNotes® program to offer individual investors access to new issue corporate debt.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Mottola has held various leadership positions, including 20 years at Merrill Lynch, where he was Head of Equity and Fixed Income Syndicate for the Global Wealth Management Division, and six years at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as the Head of the Trading and the Capital Markets platforms. Most recently, Mr. Mottola was a Managing Partner at PCM Management Consulting, LLC.

Mr. Mottola earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Providence College; he also earned an MBA from Monmouth University. He is an approved FINRA dispute resolution arbitrator and has served on the SIFMA fixed income committee. Mr. Mottola will be based in the Boca Raton office.
