Large Business Innovator: Bentall Kennedy Wins 2018 GLOBE Climate Leadership Award

TORONTO & OTTAWA, Ontario--()--Bentall Kennedy received the Climate Leadership Award for the Large Business Innovator category in a ceremony held at the GLOBE Forum 2018 – Leadership Summit for Sustainable Business. Adjudicated by an independent panel, the award was presented to Bentall Kennedy by award sponsors: The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Catherine McKenna; John Dillon, Senior Vice President, Policy and Corporate Counsel for the Business Council of Canada; Marcelo Lu, President of BASF Canada; and Mike Gerbis, CEO, GLOBE Series.

Bentall Kennedy’s focus on investing soundly and sustainably was lauded, noting the company’s leadership on climate change at home through its work in real estate investment and management in Canada and its global position as the co-chair of the Property Working Group for the United Nations Environment Programme’s Finance Initiative.
