CHICAGO--()--Berges Institute, the Graf Method-focused Spanish language school for adults, announces a new location will open this week in the Loop. The first courses will begin on February 26, and students can already take the online placement test and register on their website.

Spokesperson Vanessa Montilla, academic director and founding member, expressed enthusiasm about the new launch last week, stating that “Berges will very soon be able to offer in Chicago the complete set of courses that has made the school so popular in New York.”

The new, 3,200-square-foot space occupies the whole third floor of 170 West Washington Street in downtown Chicago and features several classrooms and private lesson areas. Although only some levels will be offered upon launch, Berges Institute plans to increase the course offering during the first two quarters of 2018.

“Berges is the best place to learn Spanish,” said Mary Griffith, a 39-year-old graphic designer from Brooklyn, New York. “You can’t beat their classes. Their method is super helpful, and the teachers are amazing.”

The company has not revealed any future plans for opening additional locations, although Ms. Montilla mentioned Los Angeles and San Francisco as suitable candidates for a possible third center.

Berges Institute, which opened in Manhattan in 2013, currently employs 14 Spanish language instructors who teach Spanish to more than 900 current students through a method that emphasizes grammar and sentence-building skills.
