Santos is responsible for developing and implementing intelligent, smarter banking and payments products for financial institutions that will essentially turn payments into an afterthought for consumers. With more than 30 years of banking experience, ranging from bank and commercial operations to cash management and delivery of enterprise processing and technology-based solutions, Santos’ focus will be around developing superior payment products that will disrupt the market and make innovative leaps in the payments industry.
Santos joins Payrailz from Webster Bank’s Treasury and Payment Solutions group where he managed the bank’s ACH, electronic bill presentment and payment and mobile banking solutions. He also led Webster’s strategic initiatives in developing digital banking applications and marketing programs and also had overall responsibility for the consumer and small business digital user experience and payments initiatives. Prior to his tenure at Webster, he held roles in operations, business analysis and cash management product strategy at Bank of America. Additionally, Santos was on several payments industry workgroups and currently serves on the NACHA Consumer Payments Advisory Committee and is also a member of ASIG (API Standardization Industry Group) driving open banking, APIs and ISO 20022 in the US.
