Verodin Appoints Former Cisco Executive Mark Bagley as VP of Products

Bagley Brings Over 20 Years of Strategic and Technical Experience to Pioneering Security Instrumentation Startup

RESTON, Va.--()--Verodin, the Security Instrumentation leader in continuous validation and configuration assurance, today announced that Mark Bagley has been named Vice President of Products. In this role, Bagley will oversee the product roadmap and manage all feature developments. With a customer-centric perspective, Bagley will play a critical part in the continued success of the Verodin Security Instrumentation Platform (SIP).

“Mark’s extensive background makes him uniquely qualified to drive product initiatives at Verodin,” said Christopher Key, CEO and Co-Founder. “With a high level of operational insight, Mark has a deep understanding of customer needs and his strategic approach to product management has made a serious impact on several of the world's largest security companies. He will be leading the charge in continuing widespread adoption of Security Instrumentation.”

Previously, Bagley was the Director of Product Management at Cisco, where he led the Network Security business through new customer growth at five times the rate of the competition. Bagley developed the company’s Security as a Service strategy, both of which significantly contributed to the company becoming SC Magazine’s “Best Security Company” of 2016. Before working with Cisco, Bagley held product management, strategy, and business development roles at Symantec, Splunk, and EMC, where he worked all over the world to develop cybersecurity and data protection offerings for commercial customers and governments in the domains of network security, incident response, and governance, risk and compliance.

“Verodin is made up of an exceptional team of security veterans with one common goal: demonstrating how defenses can be measurably improved through instrumentation,” said Bagley. “The company’s truly unique evidence-based process of managing security effectiveness is being rapidly adopted across every major industry vertical and I am thrilled to be part of this movement.”

The Verodin SIP is a foundational technology that enables organizations to understand and communicate cybersecurity effectiveness with quantifiable, evidence-based data.
