CHICAGO--()--Connect Hearing, one of the strongest networks of Hearing Care Professionals in the United States, has added Insera™ and Stride™ M R, a new family of custom in-the-ear (ITE) and rechargeable behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing instruments, to its extensive offering of hearing devices and accessories.

Insera

Insera from Unitron, a leading manufacturer of hearing devices, is the latest ITE product on the Tempus™ platform, Unitron’s most innovative sound technology. This driving technology allows the wearer to actively participate in all types of conversations, even difficult ones with significant background noise. Speech becomes easier to understand and sounds are clearer, allowing users to be aware of what’s happening around them and where the sound is coming from.

Insera is Unitron’s smallest custom ITE hearing device. It sits comfortably in the ear, eliminating adjustment struggles throughout the day. Each customized model is built for wearers who want a sleek, subtle in-the-canal (IIC) instrument and for those with dexterity issues looking for a full shell ITE instrument that is easy to insert in the ear.

In addition to the Tempus feature set, the new hearing device includes hardware and design improvements that will improve the ITE patient experience. Unitron’s sophisticated EarMatch™ modeling process optimizes directional microphone performance in custom products by compensating for the difference in each patient’s ear anatomy and unique ear shape.

Stride M R

The Stride M R rechargeable BTE hearing device is also built on Unitron’s Tempus platform. The award-winning Stride M hearing instruments now include a rechargeable option, enabling users to take advantage of uninterrupted all-day listening. Additionally, disposable batteries can be swapped at any time to keep the conversation going.

After just 5-7 hours of charging, the hearing instruments are ready to perform for a full 24 hours (*). Once charged, patients can pull them from the charging port and put them on without fidgeting with buttons or completing other steps.

With volume control and program buttons that are easy to find and simple to use, Stride M R delivers the natural sound and enjoyable conversations clients love. Additionally, it is available in a variety of colors to match several skin tones.

“Insera and Stride M R represent the latest in hearing instrument technology and gives users the opportunity to engage and interact in any situation around them,” said Patrick Schuerer, Vice President of Marketing, Connect Hearing. “We are excited to have these new personalized and potentially life-changing offerings for our clients.”
