WILSONVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DWFritz Automation Inc., a leading provider of high-precision automation solutions for advanced manufacturing, today announced that Steve Pecis was appointed to the position of vice president of operations effective immediately. In this role, Pecis will work closely with the rest of DWFritz’s management team to oversee increased manufacturing as the organization grows. Pecis will supervise the day-to-day operations of DWFritz’s facility including the manufacturing of metrology and assembly systems for medical, automotive, and consumer electronics customers. Pecis will drive expansion of DWFritz’s manufacturing capabilities to provide fast and flexible support for our clients while also delivering world-class operational systems and results.

Pecis comes to DWFritz from Solar World, headquartered in Hillsboro, OR, where he was vice president of operations for North America. Steve's experience spans all aspects of factory and product life-cycle. He is a thoughtful, collaborative, and systematic leader who strives for operational excellence via structured problem solving, calculated risk-taking, and strong business strategy alignment. Steve holds a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in semiconductors from the University of Illinois.
