“Tim has already proven to be a valuable asset for ENVEIL while serving as a Strategic Advisor since the beginning of 2017,” said Ellison Anne Williams, CEO and Founder of ENVEIL. “Adding him to our Board of Directors is an important step and we look forward to utilizing his expertise and guidance in the company’s continued growth.”
Within a span of five years, Eades served as the CEO of Silver Tail Systems, which was acquired by RSA, and then Everyone.net, which was acquired by Proofpoint. Eades has led, mentored, grown and supported the security community to advance innovations and protect critical data and infrastructure that underpin our society. He joins the existing members of ENVEIL’s Board of Directors, Williams and Bob Ackerman, founder of DataTribe. Together, they will guide ENVEIL’s continued success and expansion, built upon the momentum ENVEIL has gained in 2017.
“IT is undergoing a major digital transformation and bringing security to the forefront of strategic planning. In the last 12 months, ENVEIL has made impressive strides in educating the industry about the need for a solution that empowers organizations to never decrypt their data,” said Eades. “Their groundbreaking technology is changing the game for data protection, and I am excited to work alongside an exceptional team and play an integral role in the company’s success.”
After transferring their homomorphic encryption technology out of the National Security Agency in 2016, ENVEIL received $1M in seed funding from DataTribe, a unique startup development studio that serves as a co-builder for breakthrough product companies coming out of the intelligence community. The use cases for ENVEIL’s technology span a wide range of large market verticals including cloud security, financial services, healthcare, cyber, audit, and supply chain.
