Former Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity at Department of Homeland Security Joins Prominent Team of Advisors to Industrial Cybersecurity Leader

Mr. Weatherford is the latest addition to Indegy’s influential team of advisors that includes Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Amos Yadlin, former chief of Military Intelligence for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and Amichai Shulman, co-founder and Chief Scientist of Imperva.

Mark Weatherford is currently Senior Vice President & Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at datacenter security vendor vArmour. He was recently recognized by SC Media with a Reboot Leadership Award as the Top Influencer in the cybersecurity industry. Mark has more than 20 years of security experience with some of the largest public and private sector organizations in the world including: global cybersecurity advisory firm The Chertoff Group; the Department of Homeland Security where he served as the first Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity; VP & Chief Security Officer at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation; and Chief Information Security Officer for the states of California and Colorado.

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Amos Yadlin currently serves as Executive Director of Tel Aviv University's Institute for National Security Studies. He was one of the founders of the IDF cybersecurity division, and advises Indegy on national security strategy and the cybersecurity threat landscape. Over his distinguished career, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Yadlin spent more than forty years in uniform, including serving as Israeli Chief of Defense Intelligence, and defense attache in Washington.

Amichai Shulman is a co-founder and chief scientist of Imperva, where he is responsible for keeping the company at the forefront of emerging technologies. Previously, he served as CTO and headed the Application Defense Center (ADC), the company’s internationally recognized security research organization. Amichai advises Indegy on best practices in cyber defense products. Under his direction, the ADC has been credited with the discovery of serious vulnerabilities in commercial Web application and database products from Oracle, IBM and Microsoft. Amichai regularly presents at industry conferences and is frequently quoted in CNN, the New York Times, USA Today and Washington Post.
