NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Kickboard school culture system has been named a finalist in two categories in the 2017 SIIA CODiE Awards. In addition to being recognized in the Best Data Solution category, Kickboard is a finalist in the Best Classroom Management Solution category for the second consecutive year. The SIIA CODiE Awards is the software and information industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program recognizing product excellence for 34 years.
Kickboard is one of only four finalists in the Best Classroom Management Solution category, one of 34 education technology categories this year, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. In the Best Data Solution category, the school culture system is one of six finalists. Both categories received hundreds of entries from companies across the world.
Comprising a highly configurable, web-based platform with personalized leadership coaching, the Kickboard school culture system provides a sustainable, data-driven framework for leading culture change in K-12 districts and schools. Ideal for Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), Social Emotional Learning, and other culture-oriented programs, Kickboard’s total solution gives educational leaders and staff access to the tools and the professional support they need to plan for a successful school culture, establish school-wide systems to capture and use real-time culture data, and improve support systems for teachers and students.
“Administrators’ use of school climate and culture data to drive improved student learning is growing at a rapid pace, thanks in no small part to technology’s ability to instantly collect and manage all the data points and insights that matter. But data by itself can’t change a school’s culture. Kickboard’s leadership coaching and professional development offerings help make the difference and are, we believe, important factors in why we’ve been honored as a CODiE finalist three times in the last four years,” said Kickboard Founder and Chief Product Officer Jennifer Medbery.
