BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cybric, provider of the first software security assurance delivery platform, today announced the appointment of Carol Clark as the company’s first vice president of marketing.
As VP of marketing, Clark will further develop Cybric’s strategic focus on marketing, its partner ecosystem and community development. Cybric’s appointment of Clark signals the company’s focus on and commitment to its go-to-market strategy and customer success, particularly on the heels of its Continuous Security-as-a-Service platform general availability announcement at the end of 2016 and early success in the first quarter of 2017.
“Cybric helps solve a major problem that is currently being addressed by siloed tools and initiatives. We are disrupting that model by building security into the fabric of development and changing how solutions are delivered to market,” said Ernesto DiGiambattista, Cybric CEO and founder. “We’re excited to have Carol as a key part of the team, focusing on delivering the message of Cybric as a strategic security solution and a business enabler. Carol will be key to ensuring our go-to-market strategy is a strong priority.”
Clark brings a wealth of relevant security and market development experience to Cybric. Clark has over 17 years of experience in the software security industry, serving a variety of roles at RSA Security. Carol’s previous experience includes product management and product marketing leadership roles at RSA, (now Dell/EMC), managing early-stage to mature, market-leading products. Most recently, Clark has been focused on advising early-stage companies on go-to-market strategy.
“Cybric has an amazing opportunity to transform the way organizations approach security and significantly minimize vulnerabilities within applications,” said Clark. “The best application of security is when it enables businesses to move faster and innovate with less risk. This is exactly what Cybric is designed to do and it presents an exciting go-to-market opportunity.
“Cybric is a rising star in the code and application security landscape, building the right team, with a service that should be considered by any security aware organization,” Clark continued.
