CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dr. Elizabeth A. Gulledge and Bill Sanford, M.S., leadership trainers and speakers at Bell Leadership Institute, will present at the ATD 2017 International Conference & Exposition in Atlanta. Registration is now open for the conference, which will be hosted at the Georgia World Congress Center on May 21-24, 2017.
Elizabeth will address the audience on Mastering the Art of Change Leadership: How to Change Yourself, Others and Organizations on May 24, 10:00 AM in room B406. The session will guide participants through the process of creating change in their organizations in a way that yields positive outcomes. She will incorporate personal skill development exercises for participants to practice applying the proven methods of leading change and think deeply about dilemmas when creating change.
Bill will present on Great Leaders, Great Results: Building Leadership Talent for Organizational Success on May 24, 10:00 AM in room B316. Participants will discover the single most important cause of the performance level of companies, teams and families – and knowing that cause, they will be better able to boost the performance of their organizations by making smarter decisions about where to invest their time and money. This session is extremely useful for those who want to persuasively make the case for selecting and building leadership talent, and who would like a framework for doing so.
Over the span of four days, ATD 2017 will host over 10,000 attendees, offering more than 300 educational sessions on various topics within the learning industry. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from over 400 speakers, including following keynote speakers: Captains Mark Kelly and Scott Kelly, highly decorated NASA astronauts and retired US Navy Captains; Dr. Kelly McGonigal, Health Psychologist and Lecturer at Stanford University; and Dr. Ronan Tynan, Irish Tenor, Paralympic Champion and MD.
Elizabeth received her BA (Political Science) from Duke University and Master's degrees (International Relations and International Business) and PhD (Organizational Theory) from the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom. She attended the University of St. Andrews as a Ransome Scholar and served as the Dean's Research Fellow in Organizational Psychology. In addition, she was a visiting scholar at the Center for Public Policy and Management at Duke University and a Rothemere Scholar at the University of Oxford.
Bill earned master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and from George Mason University’s Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which he attended on a Morehead Scholarship.
