CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--CompuCom Systems, Inc. (“CompuCom®”), a leading IT managed services company, today announced the availability of its ASCEND™ Digital Platform to help IT organizations modernize how they deliver end-to-end lifecycle services. The ASCEND platform integrates CompuCom-developed technologies and commercial software to assist clients as they execute their digital transformation agendas.

Gartner defines this new space as algorithmic IT operations platforms, or AIOps, and asserts that, “By 2019, 25 percent of global enterprises will have strategically implemented an AIOps platform that supports two or more major IT operations functions, up from fewer than 5 percent today.”1

ASCEND’s inaugural release elevates existing services and introduces new digital capabilities, including:

  • Mobile applications to personalize IT experiences based on a user’s situation, location and what’s best for the business.
  • Self-service knowledge automation, which modernizes the brokerage, creation and maintenance of self-help insights.
  • Actionable IT Service Management analytics that visualize IT processes in near real-time, create insights and identify automation opportunities.
  • A next-generation version of CompuCom’s End-User Orchestrator™ to automate problem resolution.
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate root cause diagnosis, issue remediation and request fulfillment.

“Automation and digital transformation pose significant opportunities and challenges, and CompuCom is focused on guiding clients to change and evolve at the speed of their culture, according to their business needs,” said Dan Stone, CEO of CompuCom. "We offer all of the technology and processes – which we’ve implemented in live client environments, as well as internally within CompuCom – to help our clients unlock the positive results that analytics and automation hold."

“Together with our clients, we have a strong desire to improve overall business agility, empower people to get their jobs done and enrich work experiences,” continued Stone. “ASCEND targets expedience, efficiency, effectiveness and empowerment to help organizations cross the chasm to the new, more consumer-oriented IT paradigms.”
