The NLC Service Line Warranty Program is a voluntary program available to NLC member cities and municipalities only through direct partnership with USP, the NLC Service Line Warranty Program administrator. The Warranty protection is offered to homeowners at an affordable price for water and sewer line failures due to normal wear and tear.
“Homeowners are already burdened with a number of expenses,” said Rusin. “The NLC program is a tool for cities to help their residents address the challenge by providing a way for homeowners to manage the cost and inconvenience of service line repairs due to age, tree root intrusion, ground shifting and weather – all factors which are covered through the program.”
