ProShip Receives 2017 MHI Innovation Award

CVP-500 selected as best new innovation

BROOKFIELD, Wis.--()--ProShip Inc., a Neopost company, today announced its CVP-500 has been selected from over 150 entries as the winner of the prestigious 2017 MHI Innovation Award in the Best New Innovation category. MHI is an international trade association that represents the material handling, logistics and supply chain industry.

ProShip’s CVP-500 was selected for its fit-to-size packing automation that optimizes all steps of order fulfillment. The system builds, fills, folds and labels single and multi-item orders every seven seconds and completely eliminates void fill. The fit-to-size parcel reduces package volume up to 50% and includes ProShip’s multi-carrier shipping software that can “rate shop” up to 70 potential carriers for the lowest possible shipping costs. The innovative solution combines fit-to-size parcels with rate shopping to save retailers and customers $1 to $2 in shipping costs per parcel.

“We are honored to be selected as the Best New Innovation in the 2017 MHI Innovation Awards program at ProMat 2017,” said Tim Casey, President of ProShip, Inc. “The CVP-500 is truly innovative, as it uses less packing material, reduces labor costs and significantly lowers DIM weight. Top e-commerce companies in both Europe and the U.S. turn to the CVP-500 for their fulfillment needs.”

The MHI Innovation Awards were announced at ProMat, the largest international material handling, logistics and supply chain show and conference held in North America and South America. After finalists presented their unique solutions to a panel of judges during ProMat on April 3, 2017, winners were selected for each category: Best New Innovation; Best Innovation of an Existing Product; and Best IT Innovation based on concept, value and impact.

The CVP-500 has been recognized for its innovation, efficiency and environmental capabilities worldwide over the past two years.
