SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Harland Clarke Holdings (HCH) has earned the highest distinction presented by the San Antonio Business Group on Health (SABGH) for its healthy workplace best practices. In collaboration with the Mayor’s Fitness Council (MFC), the 2016 Healthy Workplace Recognition Award honors San Antonio-based employers who stand out in their focus on employee health and wellness through exemplary workplace wellness programs.
HCH is one of 17 employers recognized with the platinum award, the program’s top honor. Overall, 40 employers were recognized for their work to improve employees’ health through their worksite wellness initiatives and awarded bronze, silver, gold or platinum status.
With a strong focus on wellness that extends beyond its San Antonio headquarters and across all of its companies, among HCH’s offerings are:
- tobacco cessation programs;
- subsidized and onsite weight loss programs and challenges;
- nutrition challenges;
- onsite biometric screenings;
- flu clinics; and
