WGL Holdings, Inc. Raises Annual Dividend $0.09 Per Share to $2.04; Marks the 41st Consecutive Annual Increase in Common Stock Dividend

WASHINGTON--()--The Board of Directors of WGL Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:WGL), the parent company of Washington Gas Light Company (Washington Gas), on January 31, 2017, voted to increase the annualized dividend on its common stock to $2.04 per share from $1.95 per share. The Board of Directors also declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.51 per share of common stock. The quarterly dividend is payable May 1, 2017 to shareholders of record on April 10, 2017.

Today represents 41 consecutive years that we have raised the cash dividend on our common stock.”

The company has one of the longest dividend payment records on the New York Stock Exchange with 166 years of dividend payments to shareholders.

Dividends on the utility's preferred stock also are payable May 1, 2017, to shareholders of record as of April 10, 2017.
