Fusebill Names SaaS Industry Veteran Rob Sutherland as CRO

Expansion of executive management team positions Fusebill’s agile monetization platform as cornerstone solution for underserved SME space

OTTAWA, Ontario--()--Fusebill, the subscription management platform that focuses on small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) ready to shift to an agile billing solution that includes monetizing the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced the appointment of Rob Sutherland as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this new position, he is responsible for aligning and optimizing Fusebill’s entire customer experience, with the aim of increasing revenue while ensuring long-lasting growth.

Sutherland, with more than 20 years of SaaS and software experience, is responsible for all activities related to growing the company’s top and bottom line. Prior to joining Fusebill, he held multiple executive positions at Halogen Software, a leading provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, where he was involved in all aspects of corporate strategic planning, operations and sales. Sutherland began his career as an Officer with Canada’s Department of National Defence / Ministère de la Défense nationale earning both the Canadian Forces Decoration and the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal.

According to Tyler Eyamie, CEO of Fusebill, “The world continues to shift to a subscription-based economy and agile billing is a critical piece of this transition. Rob is a leader who will be able to build on our existing traction in the SME space by working with business executives and companies searching for inventive ways to increase revenues, reduce costs, mitigate risk and boost customer satisfaction.”

Businesses such as INSzoom, Churchill Downs and ClearPath GPS and hundreds of other global businesses have incorporated Fusebill’s subscription management platform because of its ease of use, “no revenue tax policy”, quick deployments and ability to adapt to unique billing models. The SaaS distribution model provides companies with the freedom to grow their businesses, the flexibility to capitalize on new product opportunities and the agility to maintain a competitive edge.

“Unlike other subscription billing solutions that are built to support the largest enterprise clients, Fusebill’s platform is uniquely designed to address the challenges SMEs experience in managing ongoing relationships with customers,” said Sutherland. “The opportunity to move the needle for this underserved market is very exciting for me.”
