SouthEast Bank Partners with ReliaMax to Expand Its EdMed Private Student Loan Program for U.S. Graduate Students Attending Medical Schools in the Caribbean

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--()--ReliaMax®, a leading private student loan platform-as-a-service solution provider, announced today the expansion of its partnership with SouthEast Bank on the Bank’s EdMed private student loan program. Recognizing the rising cost of education for post-graduate studies in the medical field and the potential financial gap for these students, SouthEast Bank’s EdMed private student loan program helps U.S. students pursuing their medical degrees in the Caribbean to secure an effective education financing solution.

“We are committed to making medical schools accessible to individuals pursuing that education, and the EdMed private student loan reduces the costs associated with financing a medical school education.” said John Arnold, Executive Chairman of SouthEast Bank. “We expanded our partnership with ReliaMax to ensure that we could leverage their experience with these schools and the loan origination, customer service, and risk management platform in place to provide the most effective education financing solution for our customers.”

“We are excited to expand our partnership with SouthEast Bank to provide the EdMed private student loan program to aspiring U.S. physicians pursuing their medical degrees in the Caribbean,” said Michael VanErdewyk, CEO of ReliaMax. “As education costs rise, students need affordable financing options. Likewise, financial institutions want to better serve the education financing needs of their customers. Private student loans are an essential and effective solution both for students and their financial institution partners.”
