NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Egon Zehnder, a global leader in executive search and leadership advisory services, today announced that Anja Herrmann has joined the firm’s New York office as an executive recruitment and board search consultant. She will focus on consumer-facing sectors, specializing in retail, luxury, apparel and digital commerce. Ms. Herrmann brings particular expertise in merchandising, buying and planning, having held senior global roles in that field.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ms. Herrmann was Vice President Direct-to-Consumer Global Buying at Tory Burch, where she led the company’s buying function globally. Previously, she held a variety of senior management positions at Gilt, including Vice President Merchandising and Vice President Sales, working across several categories and verticals. Earlier in her career, Anja worked in buying and merchandising roles for global luxury brands such as Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Prada. She has lived in the USA, Italy, France, the UK, Switzerland and Germany.
Ms. Herrmann earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also holds a Master’s degree from the Community of European Management Schools and a Lic. Oec. HSG from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
