Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Company Marxent Expands its Leadership Team with New Vice President of Client Partnerships

Mobile Industry Veteran Joins Marxent to Support Rapid Growth and Enterprise Demand for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Applications

DAYTON, Ohio--()--Marxent, the leading virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) company for enterprise retailers and manufacturers, today announced the appointment of Stephanie Fresonke as vice president of client partnerships. To accommodate the momentum around Marxent’s 3D virtual products platform, VisualCommerce™, Stephanie will spearhead Marxent’s sales team and client relationship development. She will be responsible for leading growth of the sales organization as Marxent expands its customer base and helps more enterprises virtualize their product catalogues with the VisualCommerce™ device-agnostic platform for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

Stephanie has a long history of wireless and mobile sales experience, most recently working at Sprint for more than 10 years as the Southeast director of sales, strategic accounts. While there, she led a team of 75 enterprise sales professionals selling to Fortune 1000 companies. Throughout her career, Stephanie has generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue growth, also having held leadership roles at other telecommunication companies like Nextel Communications, AT&T and McCaw Cellular.

“Stephanie’s background selling mobile technologies to enterprise companies makes her a perfect fit for Marxent,” said Beck Besecker, CEO and co-founder, Marxent. “Stephanie will be pivotal in helping companies see just how ubiquitous Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality already are and why now is the time to act if they want to stay competitive. Marxent has really hit its stride and made a name for itself as an Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality company that enables enterprise applications across all kinds of devices, and Stephanie will be an important part of our next phase of growth.”

“Marxent has been getting a lot of buzz recently, particularly around the recent $10 million Series B funding,” said Fresonke. “The company is growing exponentially. Companies from a wide range of industries are realizing how disruptive AR and VR technologies can improve the buying experience for their clients, and drive revenue growth in short order. The success that Marxent has already had with major clients in retail and manufacturing proves how powerful these technologies can be. I look forward to applying my enterprise sales experience in a way that shows customers how these technologies fit into and enhance their sales strategies, and how our solutions can help them close the visualization gap for large and semi-custom purchases.”
