LONDON, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diply, one of the world’s leading social content platforms reaching over 115M consumers monthly, announced today that media business veteran and former President of Mode Media, Dan Lagani, will join the company as President and Chief Revenue Officer.
Headquartered in New York, Lagani will spearhead global revenue operations, sales strategy and client services for Diply, and lead the rapid build-out of the company’s U.S footprint, including its social, branded entertainment, video and programmatic businesses.
Lagani, a seasoned digital media executive, most recently helped lead the transformation of Mode Media (formerly Glam Media), a comScore Top 10 media company, into one of the largest premium video and content platforms in the U.S. He will report to Diply co-founder and CEO, Taylor Ablitt.
“Hiring a respected industry veteran like Dan is a significant step in our journey,” said Ablitt. “Dan will help crystallize our brand and go-to-market strategy, and with his leadership, we’ll be able to provide innovative and wide-reaching products to our brand partners. Diply is one of the dominant players in relatable, entertaining digital content and Dan’s experience will help us reach new heights.”
“What the Diply team has been able to achieve over the past two and a half years has been nothing short of amazing, and they’re just getting started. I’m thrilled about the opportunity to scale the company’s social content ad platform in the U.S. and to make Diply a household name among the world’s biggest brands,” said Lagani.
Prior to Mode, Lagani served as North American President of Reader’s Digest, President of Condé Nast’s Fairchild Fashion Group and Publisher of Meredith flagship Better Homes and Gardens. An innovator with more than two decades of leadership experience, he has been responsible for growing and developing businesses, award-winning websites, television programs, co-branded products and live consumer events.
