SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--We proudly announce that Alt Inc. is committed to establishing the largest scale Artificial Intelligence Research & Development Center in Asia, and has invited Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc as the head supervisor of the center. With Dr. Nguyen joining us, we will promptly set up A.I. R&D bases around Asia and accelerate the employment of researchers, A.I. engineers, data scientists and others. We expect our new team to have approximately 50 members to start with, and they will be dedicated to the development of Alt’s P.A.I. (Personalized Artificial Intelligence).
About Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc:
With a Japanese governmental (Ministry
of Education) scholarship, he completed Bachelor/Master/Doctor courses
at Tokyo University and obtained his Ph.D in Information Science and
Technology. His research paper “Development of Cross-lingual Latent
Semantic Search Engine” was adopted into the Japanese governmental IPA
project Mito (main part) in 2010 and at AAAI 2011. The paper also
achieved two major awards: JSAI (the Japanese Society for Artificial
Intelligence) Annual Conference Award 2010 and Google Research Award
2010. He also won the Microsoft CORE research grant for his research.
