Pamela L. Cox Honored for Outstanding Service to Licensing Executives Society International

CHICAGO--()--Marshall Gerstein & Borun LLP partner Pamela L. Cox was honored in Beijing, China, at this year’s annual conference of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) with the President’s Award for Individual Service, recognizing her outstanding years of leadership as Chair of the LESI Life Sciences Committee.

The award was presented by James R. Sobieraj, President of LESI, at the organization’s 2016 conference in Beijing, China. At the presentation, Mr. Sobieraj said to the delegates, “Pam Cox is a role model for running an LESI Committee effectively and efficiently.”

LESI has more than 9,000 members across 90 countries and 33 national and regional member societies. Ms. Cox served as Chair of the Life Sciences Committee for four years and will continue to serve in the role as Past Chair and Advisor to the Committee. She has been involved in numerous leadership roles for LES, including serving as Chair of the Chicago Chapter of LES. Ms. Cox is an international delegate for the Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada) and creates and instructs courses for LES.

Ms. Cox has been recognized by IAM Patent 1000 as “one of the country’s leading licensing authorities”. She is the Chair of the IP Transactions practice at Marshall Gerstein, and concentrates on intellectual property transactions, protection, and transfer for clients including multinational corporations and non-profit institutions.
