The best startup from each vertical will be entered into the final pitch round for the overall Innovation of Things Award, which will be announced on May 12. The winner will be named Most Valuable Startup of 2016 and will be awarded a trip to a sister event in Europe to further showcase the company’s successes and innovations. Additionally, the industry experts will lead interactive workshops on topics such as pitching investors, fundraising, and acquisition strategies.
