Partnership to Kick Off with Phillips’ Evening & Day Editions Auction on April 25; Real-Time Online Bids to be Accepted Through Invaluable.com and the Invaluable Mobile App

Phillips will live-stream sales on Invaluable starting with the Evening & Day Editions Including Works on Paper auction on April 25, 2016. With this news, Invaluable’s buyers from over 200 countries around the world will have access to bid in real-time in Phillips’ upcoming sales, both on Invaluable.com and through Invaluable’s mobile app.

Phillips’ Evening & Day Editions Including Works on Paper auction will offer 346 lots, featuring works by icons of 20th century art, including Andy Warhol, Yves Klein, Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. A variety of media will be represented, from Yves Klein’s Victoire de Samothrace to fluorescently inked screenprints by Keith Haring and KAWS, to both ceramics and works on paper by Pablo Picasso. The auction will also include a range of works by Cy Twombly created between 1969 and 1996, along with portfolios by Donald Judd and Sol LeWitt.

Highlights from the Evening Sale (lots 1-99), which starts at 6pm EDT on April 25, 2016, include Andy Warhol’s Moonwalk, 1987 (estimated at $200,000 - $300,000), Keith Haring’s Self-Portrait, 1989 (estimated at $120,000 - $180,000), Yves Klein’s Victoire de Samothrace, 1962 (estimated at $100,000 - $150,000) and Keith Haring’s Retrospect, 1989 (estimated at $100,000 - $150,000).

Highlights from the Day Sale (lots 100-346), which starts at 11am EDT on April 25, 2016, include Joan Miró’s L’Astre du Marécage, 1967, Gerhard Richter’s Haggadah (P2), 2006, Takashi Murakami’ Snow Moon Flower, 2002 and Sol LeWitt’s Lines In Color on Color From Corners Sides and Centers to Specific Points on a Grid, 1978, all estimated at $10,000 - $15,000.
