New Jersey American Water Acquires System in Mendham Township

Former Roxiticus customers to receive substantial rate decrease

VOORHEES, N.J.--()--New Jersey American Water has acquired the Roxiticus Water Company in Mendham Township. Effective today, New Jersey American Water will begin providing water services to 104 new customers. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved a restructuring of Roxiticus’ former rates to align with New Jersey American Water’s current rates. The average Roxiticus customer, using 6,000 gallons of water per month, will save approximately $22 per month with New Jersey American Water.

Additionally, new customers will have access to the company’s 24/7 emergency customer service center, online account management tools, and the benefits of the company’s commitment to upgrading and replacing aging infrastructure.
