EMERYVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Peet’s Coffee announced today its commitment to sourcing cage-free eggs in all company-owned locations by 2020.
“Peet’s is transforming its food program and as we evolve and expand our offerings we are committed to collaborating with our suppliers to reach our goal of using cage-free eggs by 2020,” says Paul Rooprai, Senior Director of Marketing for Peet’s.
The premium coffee brand is partnering with the American Humane Association to craft its transition strategy to using cage-free eggs. This move is consistent with Peet’s commitment to using dairy from cows not treated with rBST, and non-GMO soy milk and almond milk.
