DALLAS--()--TDIndustries (TD) is pleased to announce the early stages of construction for a new public access Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station located at 204 Medical Drive in Lake Jackson, Texas. The project is expected to be completed within 90 days and the station to be operational by late December 2015.

The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles and will have 24 hours a day, seven days a week public access. It will have two dual hose dispensers and will feature CNG fast-fill technology in addition to two electric vehicle charging stations.

“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to bring the best practices and exceptional reputation TDIndustries is known for in the construction industry to this project,” said Dmitri Tisnoi, President of CNG Energy Partners, owner and operator of the CNG station. “We recognize the company’s ability to get our CNG station built in the safest and most environmentally-friendly fashion and look forward to completion of the project on time and within budget.”

“It’s great to be able to leverage our experience and capabilities towards the construction of the first Public Private Partnership CNG fueling facility in Texas,” said Jason Cinek, SVP TDIndustries. “We plan to grow our business in the alternative fuels and energy markets by supporting both private and public entities in their desire to build and maintain CNG fueling stations throughout the Southwest region of the United States. Focusing on a life-cycle approach for CNG station owners will provide our clients with a safe and reliable solution working with one partner for all of their installation, maintenance and service needs.”

About CNG Project in the City of Lake Jackson

The City of Lake Jackson was one of the first Texas municipalities to embrace alternative fuel for its fleet by converting their vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and constructing a private access CNG fueling facility in early 2000. A more recent agreement between the City of Lake Jackson and CNG Energy Partners that utilizes the Public-Private Partnership (P3) legal structure has allowed for the expansion of the existing private Lake Jackson CNG fueling station to accommodate public access.
