LEBANON, Tenn.--()--This Veterans Day, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® will show its appreciation for the U.S. military by offering veterans a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert and supporting the United Service Organizations (USO). Cracker Barrel is encouraging guests to purchase in-store the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake on Nov. 11 and select retail items from now until Nov. 11 to support the USO’s Transition 360 Alliance, an initiative that assists military personnel and their families as they transition from military life back into civilian life.

For years, Cracker Barrel has demonstrated commitment to assist service members and veterans. This year Cracker Barrel will offer veterans a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert during lunch and dinner on Wed., Nov. 11 at all 635 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations to thank them for their bravery and sacrifice.

Guests may join Cracker Barrel and lend their support by purchasing the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake on Veterans Day, as well as select retail items now through Veterans Day while supplies last. The retail items include a paracord bracelet, flag cookie, Bless the U.S.A. Tervis tumbler and mug, and more. Ten percent of the sales price of the purchase of the cake and the retail items will be donated to the USO Transition 360 Alliance.

“Transitioning out of the military can be a difficult process, so providing our military with the resources to reintegrate into civilian life is paramount,” said USO Vice President of Development Chad Hartman. “We are proud to have Cracker Barrel join us this Veterans Day. Partnerships like this make it possible for the USO to extend its reach in supporting service members and their families as they transition out of the military.”

It is estimated by the Department of Defense that more than 250,000 service members will transition back into civilian communities each year over the next four years. Transition 360 Alliance leverages USO’s global resources and the expertise of other nonprofit organizations to provide a range of impactful programs and services to support troops and military families in developing their life plans, pursuing new career paths, and strengthening their families and community networks. Partners of the USO Transition 360 Alliance include RP/6, Hire Heroes USA, Stronger Families and Comfort Crew for Military Kids.
