PwC Launches The Experience Center to Help Clients Accelerate Digital Innovation and Transformation

NEW YORK--()--Today, PwC announced the creation of a new global Experience Center to accelerate how the firm provides digital-centric services to clients. The Experience Center is the latest addition to PwC’s Digital Services.

PwC’s Experience Center is an ecosystem of talent, environment, and solutions, combining the best of agency and consultancy to help clients create next-generation experiences for customers, employees and partners. It features:

  • Talent: Over 3,000 experienced creative, digital business, and industry experts across the globe collaborating to innovate future products, services, processes and businesses.
  • Environment: Digital and physical environments engineered for PwC and clients to reimagine business and co-develop a plan to get there.
  • Solutions: Collaborative engagement models and proprietary service offerings move clients beyond current trends and focus on the future of their businesses.

“Innovation with a sense of purpose and speed can be elusive for many large organizations,” said David Clarke, Principal, PwC Advisory, and Chief Experience Officer. “A need to focus on delivering core business results can sometimes hinder getting the next big idea to market. We’re pioneering a new model to help larger organizations build and deliver experiences, products, and services to market faster than they otherwise could.”

The Experience Center Ecosystem

The Experience Center Talent group is spread across 31 cities globally and includes creative directors, strategists, technologists, designers, engineers, product managers, developers and more. As likely to hold an MFA as they are an MBA, Experience Center team members provide clients with the imagination and creative skills to create new products, as well as with services to solve problems, combining deep industry and business expertise to deliver transformative ideas to market. The Experience Center also leverages top thinkers and leading practices from a variety of alliance partners (such as Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce and Sitecore), plus relationships with leading universities and tech startups.

The Experience Center environments (known as Sandboxes) will bring together the physical and virtual worlds to nurture collaboration and co-creation, provide workspaces to tinker, labs to experiment, war rooms to debate, and ‘real world’ studios for ideas to be actualized. The first Experience Center Sandbox is set to open later this year outside Miami with a second facility planned for early 2016 in California.

Experience Center Solutions bring to bear PwC’s deep industry expertise combined with a digital-first approach to deliver compelling offerings to market. From cross-industry capabilities around digital strategy, technologies, or analytics, to more specific industry solutions focused on customer experiences that reimagine and redefine the future of a business, PwC’s Experience Center solutions can meet the full needs of its clients. PwC’s Digital Services business can deliver across the board, from strategy through marketplace execution.

“Since launching our Digital Services business last year, we’ve grown our team by approximately 50 percent and have increased the number of digital projects by 100 percent,” said Tom Puthiyamadam, Principal, PwC Advisory, and Digital Services Leader. “Building on that success, our new Experience Center approach allows PwC to leverage its unique set of skills to help clients move faster, create more compelling experiences, and position themselves to win in today’s digital-first world.”
