ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global management consulting firm Kurt Salmon is thrilled to welcome Paul Murphy as a partner in its North America Health Care Group, based in Atlanta.
Mr. Murphy, who previously served as a senior manager at Kurt Salmon, has focused on applying his deep expertise in IT strategy, operations and planning to clinical and physician services. He brings to the Kurt Salmon team more than 20 years of experience in this field and has a history of delivering industry-recognized results for clients across a wide range of health care IT strategy and operations needs. His specific expertise is focused on IT strategy and resource deployment, system evaluation and selection, and contract negotiation.
Mr. Murphy has led strategy development and the planning of comprehensive IT landscapes on behalf of a variety of clients. In addition to his work at the strategic level, he has also operated at a hands-on tactical level, consulting on everything from IT governance and budgeting to application portfolio planning and resource allocation. Throughout his career, Mr. Murphy has been instrumental in generating durable client relationships that fuel ongoing business opportunities and in establishing distinctive service offerings that serve unmet client needs.

He is also a widely recognized expert on accountable care organizations (ACOs) and personalized medicine, having presented his expertise in collaboration with Moffitt Cancer Center and having authored numerous articles on the subject.

Mr. Murphy received his Bachelor of Science from University College Dublin and earned his MBA in health care administration jointly from Baruch College and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
