Industry Leaders Stoneware, A Lenovo Company, and Clever Partner to Dramatically Improve Delivery of Educational Resources

Partnership will provide educators and students the best of both worlds, leveraging Clever’s Instant Login and webNetwork’s unified application delivery

INDIANAPOLIS--()--Stoneware, Inc., A Lenovo Company, developer of webNetwork, a Unified Workspace solution, today announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Clever Inc., a provider of secure single sign-on access for school-based learning software and student information systems.

Stoneware is the first partner to embrace Clever’s new portal integration technology to seamlessly deliver Clever Instant Login links within a district’s Unified Workspace.

Key Facts on the Partnership:

  • The partnership enables webNetwork users to benefit from Clever’s Instant Login, a single sign-on feature that delivers seamless, one-click login capabilities and secure data management for teachers and students.
  • Educators are asking for ways to leverage existing roster information. Currently Clever is the established leader in the market and is used by tens of millions of K-12 students in more than 35,000 schools to improve the education software experience.
  • Clever’s districts can now take advantage of webNetwork’s rich application delivery platform to achieve single sign-on for applications that are not Clever Instant Login enabled. These can include on-premise applications, Windows applications, hosted applications and file services.
  • webNetwork will leverage Clever’s roster synchronization to seamlessly deliver provisioned applications.

Rick German, CEO and Co-Founder of Stoneware: "Stoneware is excited about the partnership with Clever because it enhances webNetwork’s single sign-on platform to now include Clever Instant Login for all Clever sync’d apps. This will eliminate more difficult syncing methods, while increasing teaching and learning time. Our number one goal is that webNetwork plus Clever will equal a better together experience for all our schools.”

Dan Carroll, CPO and Co-Founder of Clever: "We are excited to partner with Stoneware and its industry-leading Unified Workplace solution. Stoneware is the first company to take full advantage of our portal-enabled Clever links to give our districts additional choice for the delivery of hundreds of Clever-enabled applications and beyond."
