SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Group, a real estate investment management company known for its multifamily investment and operational experience, today announced the appointments of Jed Gates as Senior Vice President, Client Relations. Based out of San Francisco, Mr. Gates’ primary responsibility will be client relationship management and fundraising for Western U.S. clients and investor prospects.

Mr. Gates comes to Berkshire from Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management, where he held senior client relations roles. Prior to that, he held client relations and acquisitions positions with Greystar, as well as real estate investment banking roles with Buchanan Street Partners. Mr. Gates holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
Mr. Gates will be based in Berkshire’s San Francisco office and will report to John Bottomley, Managing Director, Client Relations.
