DANVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accela, a San Ramon-based government software company, is partnering with Capes4Heroes to make a difference in the lives of children battling life-threatening illnesses and disabilities. Accela will host a breakfast at its headquarters in Bishop Ranch on April 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to raise money for the local organization.
Accela executives will spend the morning preparing breakfast for employees as a fundraiser for Capes4Heroes. All proceeds will benefit the organization, and the funds will be used to make capes for the children at UCSF in San Francisco and George Mark Children’s House in San Leandro. Additionally, Accela employees will have the opportunity to donate to a child directly.
Capes4Heroes, a 501c3 charity based in the Bay Area, presents superhero capes to children dealing with life-threatening illnesses, disabilities or life struggles to help them showcase their strength and courage. The handmade capes are presented to children at hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses and camps throughout the United States.
