ROTTERDAM, Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chainalytics, a global leader in supply chain consulting, analytics and market intelligence today announced that Erik Diks will join the firm as managing director to lead the company’s European business based in Helsinki and Milan and will launch the firm’s Dutch office.

Diks joins Chainalytics from PwC, where he was responsible for a team of supply chain management professionals delivering strategic services for multinationals across the globe. “My passion is developing teams who create value for customers by applying their supply chain knowledge and consulting skills,” Diks explained. “This is a core part of Chainalytics’ mission, which it embraces and practices daily around the world. I am excited about this opportunity to join some of the smartest people in supply chain management.”
Diks’ supply chain consulting experience includes roles at Ernst & Young and Deloitte. Diks then joined S&V Management Consultants, where he grew the firm’s Dutch practice, which was subsequently acquired by PwC.
All told, Diks brings nearly two decades of strategic supply chain experience spanning supply chain network design, S&OP, demand and supply planning and product and customer portfolio optimization. He maintains a high-profile academic and industry presence, with articles and posts in publications including International Journal of Production Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, and Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences. He also co-authored a 2013 global study with MIT on supply chain risk management.
He earned his doctoral and master’s degrees from the Eindhoven University of Technology and holds certification in areas including Black Belt Six Sigma and SCOR methodology.
