Hyatt Vacation Ownership Debuts First Property in Hawaii

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--()--Hyatt Vacation Ownership (HVO), an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (ILG) (NASDAQ: IILG), today announced the highly anticipated opening of the luxury Hyatt Kā’anapali Beach, a Hyatt Residence Club Resort. Located on one of Maui’s most sought-after beaches, the 131-unit property joins 15 other upscale shared ownership resorts marketed and managed by HVO. The project is a joint venture with an affiliate of Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc.

Hyatt Kā’anapali Beach shares 1,800 feet of beachfront and 40 tropical acres with the award-winning Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa. Spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom residential-style accommodations have expansive lanais, fully equipped gourmet kitchens, handcrafted dining tables, widescreen HD LED TVs, and sleeper sofas. Most of the units have breathtaking ocean views and the remainder feature vistas of the West Maui Mountains.

Extensive amenities include an 8,000-square-foot open-air lobby; beachfront Pau Huaka’i tiki bar; Lahaina Provision Company marketplace; lagoon pool, with zero-entry children's area; separate infinity pool; Day Lounge relaxation areas, with TVs, Wi-Fi, showers, and lockers; and a 3,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center.
