LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citi (NYSE:C) has launched a research partnership with the Oxford Martin School, a research community that is part of the University of Oxford, with the aim of better analysing a variety of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century.
Citi Research and the Oxford Martin School have published their first collaborative report in the form of a Citi Global Perspectives & Solutions (Citi GPS) paper titled “Future Opportunities, Futures Shocks: Key Trends Shaping the Global Economy and Society”.

The primary focus of the partnership will be to publish on a variety of topics through the Citi GPS thought leadership product, accompanied by relevant seminars and events. The Citi GPS product suite is designed to deliver insights and viewpoints on compelling issues and structural thematic trends in the global economy. The series was developed as a means to deliver the depth of strategic thought that exists across Citi to a wide audience, including institutional investors, corporates, public sector officials and individuals, providing clients with the basis of informed dialogue on key topics of global relevance.

The initial collaborative report, authored by Goldin, who is also Professor of Globalization and Development at the University of Oxford, examines the drivers of globalization and the global megatrends – both societal and technological – that will shape the future, as well as the potential shocks and risks to the global system. The report includes contributions from a broad number of Citi Research analysts on the trends identified and discussed.
